Quck update

I have been slacking off a bit in my blogging. I thought I would post a few quick pics and a video.
The video isn’t the best, but I am still learning Sony Vegas. Not too bad for a first attempt I don’t think.

From my last photo shoot with Kate.

Miss Kate. Strobist info: 2 VSD 300's through white soft boxes. One high camera right, one low camera left as a fill. Gray paper backdrop.

Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby

Short and sweet: I’ll be honest, I didn’t know who Amy Rigby was, and all I knew of Wreckless Eric can be found in the video below where he helps Will Ferall get laid Stranger Than Fiction:

I decided to take a chance and go check out the show, knowing that seeing someone who had a song on the radio 30 years ago could be a total dud. I am very happy to report back that the show was very entertaining and well worth the time and cover charge.

Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby
Amy Rigby is a badass, and I would love to she her perform on her own as well.

Fixing up old photos

I am far from a Photoshop expert, but I really enjoy learning more about the program and learning new things. One of the things I have become pretty good at is fixing older or damaged photos. It is very rewarding to start with something that really needs help, and finishing with something that has new life after being worked on. It is amazing what you can do with the color photos that have become yellow or red, or the older photos with scratches, folds, or other damage. This is a pic of one of my Grandmother’s brothers who died a long time ago. This is one of the few pictures she had of him, and she was upset with some of the damage to the photo and the damage to his face. The photos: Original photo, Sepia fixed version, Black and White version, and my (poor) hand tinted version. I could spend a lot more time on these, but I am pretty happy with the results.

Here was another photo project:
