Update

Once again, I’ve been slacking on the blog front. For this, I hope you can accept my most sincere apologies. Like all of you out there on the interweb, I have been pretty busy lately. Work has kept me more busy than usual, and I’m also house hunting. Free time has been pretty scarce lately.

I think this update will be mostly pictures, and I’ll have more commentary later this week.

Vanilla Coke is back!!! Why I’m writing about this here… I have no idea. You have to admit, that’s exciting stuff (says the author will writing this with a glass of vanilla Jack and Coke in hand…. yum

My good friend Sam came from school (Go Tech!) came in town with her friend Sarah to participate in a triathlon here in Irving. She lives out in Odessa now, and I only get to see her once a year or so. They both stayed with me over the weekend and we took some cool pics. Click the link pic below to get to the gallery.

And finally, I went to the Bend Studio benefit concert with Dan Dyer and Charlie Sexton. The show was held at Rock House films in the Uptown area of Dallas. The turn out was a little bit thin, but the show was still a lot of fun. I donated a few prints for the auction (not sure if they sold or not). I’ve seen both Charlie and Dan play before, and I enjoyed the show very much. I also was lucky to get really good pics of both of those guys the first time I saw them play.
