Lost Three Minutes- Mrs. Clue, Michael and the sail boat.

Lost Three Minutes

This episode kind of made me want to write about my “theory” of what the hell is going on as this show evolves. But would you guys really want to read it? There are hundreds of message boards with every theory under the sun that you guys could read? Hummmm. So maybe I’ll make some comments about what happened and try to keep the conspiracy theory as light as possible.

We got to see what happened to Michael in this episode, and subsequently get to see more of the “Others” camp and meet a few more of them. Mrs. Clue looks like she may play a bigger role in future episodes. We even get to see Walt again. Here is what struck me most about what we found. The “Others” seemed very calm and calculated. The seemed like what they were doing was well planned out, and the scary part of them was just a show. When they took Michael to their camp we saw all of the huts that they were living in outside, and a well graded entrance to another hatch. My gutt feeling is that what we saw there was part of the show, part of the game. I don’t think they really lived outside so primitively. When you take into consideration what Claire saw when she was in the hospital with them (clean clothes, well kept etc.) and them finding the beards and costumes to make them look gruff….. I think all of that is a sham. Walt added to my thoughts on that when he told Michael that “they aren’t who they say they are”.

The Others Camp
We also found out why Walt went crazy and turned mole. There doesn’t seem to be any brain washing or mind bending. It looks like they are just using the threat of Michael never seeing Walt again to get him to free Henry Gail and bring John, Hurley, Jack, and Sawyer to their camp. I’m not sure what to think about the “vaccine” that was given to Clair by our heroin addicted friend.

The big cliff hanger on this one is the small sail boat that they see heading to the island at the funeral. Another crash on the Island? Hummm…

I’m going to be out of the country for the 2 hour finale next week! I hope they have Lost in Mexico!

OOOOOOHHHHHHH MEXICO! (sing James Taylor’s song and be happy).

Update: 1973 Pontiac Bonneville, and a 1970 Chevy CTS/10. Efects of a circular polarizer. De Leon Texas

Blake shooting a 1973 Pontiac Bonneville

All right! I’ve been slacking off and getting behind on my blogging shenanigans lately, but I have to get caught up here pretty quickly. Why you might ask? Well all of next week I’m headed to Mexico with Blake , John and Keni. I’ll be gone for almost a whole week to that tropical paradise and hopefully not have any access to a computer. So I have to give you guys things to read now before I head out.

First I thought I’d go over last week’s adventure with Blake. We drove way the hell out to De Leon Texas to take some pictures of a few classic cars. Blake was the lead photographer, but I was lucky enough to tag along and shoot 2nd camera. If he ends up getting published I’ll update in the comments in this post later (will probably be at least Oct.). If you guys end up in De Leon Texas and need a place to eat, I recommend The Blue Moon Café (note, if you are city boys like us and the locals tell you to go to the Highway 16 Café…they mean the café on highway 16….which is the Blue Moon ;) ).

1973 Pontiac Bonneville

We had a lot of fun! We shot a 1973 Pontiac Bonneville, and a 1970 Chevy CTS/10 (8 350) Truck. Both were in great condition, and the Chevy was really a beautiful machine. The family who owns these vehicles also own a auto repair center in Fort Worth, and did a wonderful job restoring these classics.

For the folks who follow this blog for photography reasons, the pictures below do show how a circular polarizer can change the glare and reflection in the image. The first photo is with the polarizer set to not polarize, and the second set for max polarizing. Pretty cool huh (well…only if you are a lame ass photo nut)?

1970 Chevy Truck- No polarizer used - note the glare on the windows 1970 Chevy Truck taken with a polarizer. Note the lack of glare on the windows.

Lost Collision- Backwards whispers when Ana Lucia Shot Shannon

I’m depressed, dejected and worn out! I got home last night and my DVR messed up and didn’t record LOST (read= Zach’s a moron and probably didn’t set it right). But all is not lost (punny?), I’m downloading the podcast of last nights show Lost ? as I write this and should be up to speed shortly. I’ll be interested to see how the quality of the podcast is.

whispers

Anyway, I promised to post the sound clips of the “whispers” that were heard in the jungle in Lost Collision right before Anna Lucia put a bullet in Shannon and killed her. Below you will see the 3 links. You will find each channel (left, right and center) isolating the backwards whispers. Kinda spooky.
